Implementation

This page is going to give you more information on the process and techniques that have been used in order to complete the designing and creation of my hotglue website. The media that was used for implementation is a video giving a brief introduction to hotglue, which I managed to place in the desired location. I will also describe how I managed to implement my name into the background image. I will also give a comparison on my hand drawn sketch and the actual website.

The image above is the background image I used for my Hotglue website. At first it was just a normal background, but after checking the layout of my website, I realised that I had no space for a text box containing my name. So I decided that I will edit the background image on Adobe Illustrator by adding my name on the background image which will be displayed clearly showing the viewer the name of the website creator.

The colours I used within my website are my personal favourite, so I decided to implement these colours because one of the workshop exercises stated 'be yourself', so I thought the same colour use throughtout the website will stand out and show my personal interest to the viewer. To match the colours on each page I used the colour function, which is one of Hotglues built in functions. The image on the right is showing the built in function.

Also another built in function which Hotglue offers is a button which makes a certain text box or button appear on all the pages you create, which I personally think is really beneficial because like this, the layout on all the pages will be the same. The image on the right is showing the function being used within Hotglue.

Finally another built in function which Hotglue offers is a button which makes a certain text box or title appear transparent on the pages you create, which I personally think is also really beneficial because with this function, the text box or title will stand out more because it is transparent with the background.
