Portfolio Design

This page is going to give you more information on the research I put into the portfolio design of my website. Some of this research included looking at different font styles available on hotglue, font size, colour scheme, the content the website is going to include and the layout of the website. Also to help enhance my ideas, I decided to create a mind map containing some plan and ideas of my portfolio design, which are going to be explained shortly. Also I am going to include some of my hand drawn sketches of the layout ideas I started off with, which I managed to change and improve.

Hand-drawn sketch

The image on the right is my first hand-drawn sketch. This hand drawn sketch was my wireframe idea of the website containing the pages linking from the Home page. Also to enhance my ideas further I decided to add links to everypage so the person who visits my website can navigate throughtout my whole website without any problems of not being able to access another web page from the page they are currently viewing.

The image on the right is the home page of my hotglue website. So as you can see my hotglue website contains more information and the layout has changed dramatically from my first ever hand drawn layout sketch. The reason why my hotglue website is different from my hand drawn sketch is because over the thought and planning process I managed to think of new ideas and also over time, I managed to unlock features within Hotglue.
