Mobile APP development
After exploring hotglue and using its features, we were asked to create a mobile application. We were given three choices and were then given a suitable amount of time to design and decide which app we are creating. The the three options given to us were:
UWE 'freshers' guide
A game
A event
The image on the right is the assignment brief that was given to us, stating to include our design process of the app on hotglue.
After we were given the three app ideas, I decided to create a UWE 'freshers' guide and started working on the whole design process of the layour, colour, font and what the app is going to include. Also we were told to create our app on appfurnace.com, which is a free online website, allowing you to create your own app.
The image on the right is a sample of my wireframe design, giving me a fair idea of how the layout of the the app is going to be.
The image on the right is a graphical design showing the first page that will appear when the student opens the app on a Iphone platform.

The image on the right is a graphical design showing the second page that will appear when the student presses the enter button on a Iphone platform.

During the creation and designing process of the mobile application, I realised that all mobile platforms have different screen sizes such as iphones and samsung phones, so I got worried about my applications layout on these different platforms. But appfurnace has a tool that will fix the button or the text towards the top or bottom of the page. The image on the right is the tool within appfurnace.
